Portfolio Spotlight – THE STAR SPORE (2023)

Synopsis: THE STAR SPORE is a two sided horror story exploring the effects of a devastating alien entity on both the body and the consciousness of an unfortunate resident of Goldtown, Montana.

Information: This project took me around half a year to complete and takes inspiration from books like ‘Hellstar Remina’ and ‘Vermis’ as well as films like ‘The Thing’, ‘Nope’, ‘Lake Mungo’ and ‘Mad God’. This project is not as focused or linear as my previous projects and I mainly tried to focus on creating smoother animation and more atmospheric scenes.

Portfolio Spotlight – SIX GUYS (2022)

Synopsis: Sam Morgan is plunged into a nightmarish reflection of his own mind. He must progress through winding vents, grotesque rooms and decaying memories to regain control over his now shattered mind. There are, however, six terrifying creatures which all intend to possess him. He must fend each off if he wishes to have a chance at returning to a point of clarity once again.

Trivia: SIX GUYS was created entirely by Ripley Howarth who, then aged 17, had received no formal training or education in story writing, sound & video editing or animation.
